HARVEL VILLAGE FETE & FUN RUN

SATURDAY 4TH JULY 2009 FROM 2PM

This annual event is held on the Harvel Village Green to raise money to maintain the Harvel Village Hall.  Stalls include Tombola, bric-a-brac, books, raffle, W.I. home made cakes, horse rides and many more attractions. The Plant stall is always the most popular with all plants donated or grown locally.  There will also be a bouncy castle, ice creams, burgers and a beer tent. 

This year's main attraction will be the Children's Fun Run organised the Harvel Hash House Harriers (who are sponsoring the run)

The course will be approximately 750 metres for younger children (Up to 10 years old). Their race starts at 3pm.

The course will be approximately 1,500 metres for the older children (11- 14 years old). Their race starts at 3.15pm.

The course starts and finishes by the Harvel Village Green.

Each runner will get a race number,  a nice medal and jelly babies.

There will be trophies for the first boy and girl from each age range..

Entries on the day only - £2. 

Max age 14, young children must be accompanied by a parent.
