THE 8th ANNUAL HARVEL 5
SATURDAY 3rd JUNE 2006
Another impressive field again this year of both club and fun runners, with 400 runners crossing the finish line. This number was slightly down on last years when there were 439 finishers but we were competing with other events on the Day including an England friendly match. Well done to Mike Boyle, Herne Hill Harriers, for winning in an impressive time of 25:48, followed with an excellent performance by John Creane, Folkstone RC in 26.42. The first woman to finish was Meredith Pannett, Tonbridge Harriers in 28.58. The first Harvel H3 person home was Sam Flaherty in 34.22. The clubs first female to finish was Kathy Herrington (AKA Token Totty) in 39.58.
