A record number of runners completed the course this year with a total of 507 crossing the finishing line, (Sorry we forgot to actually paint the line!) Last year there were 380 finishers. Well done this year to Mike Boyle (Herne Hill Harriers) for breaking the course record with a time of 25 minutes and 42 seconds. The previous course record was set by John Creane (London Irish) with 26 minutes and 2 second, who came third this year. The female course record remains unbroken at 27 minutes and 54 seconds, set in 2001. Harvel H3 managed to allow over 20 of it's club members to run, with 8 members finishing in the top 200. Popeye was the first club member to finish in an impressive 32 minutes and 15 seconds (76 place). Fatnat was the first female club member to finish in 37 minutes and 42 seconds (199 place).
